Beautiful Madang is situated along the northern coast of Papua New Guinea, close to the equator, Madang Province consists of snow and cloud-capped mountains, towering tropical rainforests, spectacular volcanic islands, wetlands, alpine grasslands and untouched coastal scenery. The province is roughly the same size as Belgium in Europe or Massachusetts in the United States at 29,000 square kilometres (11,200 square miles). Madang is divided into six administrative districts – Madang, Bogia, Middle Ramu, Raicoast, Sumkar & Usino Bundi.
This unique province has a huge amount to see and do ranging from snorkeling and surfing to experiencing Papua New Guinean village and cultural life, including the famous singsings (traditional dance).
